About Alex

Alex is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in trauma recovery. Her extensive experience in Maternal Mental Health and First Responder support sets her apart. She is deeply committed to providing individualized treatment to foster hope and balance in her clients’ lives. Utilizing a wealth of clinical knowledge and a compassionate approach, Alex works collaboratively with her clients to facilitate meaningful change. Alex firmly believes that each person is the expert on their life story. Her role is to serve as a facilitator, helping clients uncover the answers they may already possess. Whether assisting someone through a difficult period or supporting them in making significant life transitions, she is dedicated to offering exceptional therapeutic care.

Alex holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counselling and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Her practice is founded on various evidence-based theories and techniques, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Person-Centered and Family Systems theories.
