About Rachel

Rachel Bickley is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who takes a collaborative, client-centred approach to therapy. She offers a warm, grounded, and supportive space where clients can slow down, explore their thoughts and emotions, and better understand patterns that may be holding them back — all with compassion and clarity.

Rachel draws from a range of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Her work focuses on building insight and supporting meaningful, values-aligned change, helping clients move forward with greater awareness, confidence, and intention.

When working with couples, Rachel integrates the Gottman Method to support healthier communication, deepen understanding, and strengthen emotional connection. She works alongside partners to identify relational patterns, develop practical skills, and foster a more secure and supportive relationship.

Rachel also brings a background in Human Kinetics, holding a Master’s degree with a concentration in Intervention and Consultation, with a focus on peak performance. This foundation informs her strengths-based, growth-oriented perspective and her belief in each person’s capacity for change. With close family members working as first responders and frontline professionals, Rachel has a deep appreciation for the unique challenges of high-stress roles. She is committed to providing a steady, compassionate space where clients feel supported as they reflect, grow, and move forward.
